Your Holiday in Port de Pollença
Much beloved by the British in particular, Port de Pollensa draws back faithful visitors time and time again.
Once a simple fishing port, the town is now very attractive, family-friendly resort, with some intriguing twists to its history.
The horseshoe shaped bay is well protected from strong winds and so the calm, warm water of the Mediterranean sea are ideal for holidays by the beach and, thanks to prohibitive building regulations on the island, there is rarely a high-rise block in sight; just long swathes of sandy beach, lined by pine and palm trees and splendid cafes and restaurants.
The Pine Walk promenade along Passeig Voramar, all whitewashed villas and pine trees leaning into the sea, is perfect for an early evening walk.
